Not every visit ends with new parts. In mid-September, a Rudy Comfort Club (our maintenance plan) member had us out to check reported equipment problems, including backwash concerns on what looked like a closed loop system.
What Our Technician Found
Our technician took close up photos of the outdoor coil and the slotted side panels (louvers). The coil fins and side panels show how well the outdoor section can let heat out. On a closed loop setup (a geothermal style system that uses pipes in the ground), problems can look different from a regular outdoor unit, so careful photos matter.

What We Completed
- Did a full system check and safety check.
- Checked and photographed the outdoor coil and side panels.
- Went over what we found about the reported problems.
The Result
The homeowner has photos of the outdoor coil from this visit. Any follow up repairs would be approved separately. Learn more about our AC repair service.
What Homeowners Can Learn From This Job
- A system check is valuable even without new parts. Knowing the condition beats guessing.
- Closed loop systems need special care. Do not treat them exactly like a regular AC.
- Coil photos are useful later. They help show whether dirt or damage is getting worse.
