What we found

Alejandro checked the system and found three parts that needed replacing: the indoor fan motor (the motor that blows air through your vents), the outdoor fan motor and the contactor (the switch that turns the outdoor unit on and off). The outdoor coil, the part that releases heat outside, also needed a deep cleaning. Weak airflow across a coil can let it get cold enough to ice over.
