SEER2 is the cooling efficiency rating, and AFUE is the furnace efficiency rating (80% AFUE means about 80 percent of the gas becomes heat for your home). Need a 1.5 ton system? Call us for a quote.

What does “ton” mean?
Ton is how heating and cooling systems are sized. It has nothing to do with weight. It tells you how much heat the system can move out of your house, and a bigger number moves more.
The right size depends on your home: the layout, insulation, windows, ductwork, and how much sun it gets. Two houses the same size can need different systems, so we don’t guess. We come out, measure, and recommend the size that fits.
Which system is right for your home?
Gas furnace, coil and AC condenser
A good fit if your home has natural gas. The gas furnace heats the house in winter. In summer, the AC condenser (the outdoor unit) works with the coil, the indoor part that sits on the furnace and cools the air, to keep the house cool.
Heat pump condenser and air handler
A good fit for all-electric homes. The heat pump condenser outside cools the house in summer and runs in reverse to heat it in winter. Inside, the air handler moves the air through your home.
Not sure which one you have or which one you want? We walk you through both at the free in-home quote.
