A Van Buren Comfort Club (our maintenance plan) member had us out for AC tune-ups on two systems.
What Our Technician Found
During the tune-up, our technician opened up the outdoor unit and found dirt built up on the coil (the part that releases heat outside). The outdoor fan motor (the motor that spins the big fan on top of the unit) and the contactor (the switch that turns the outdoor unit on and off) needed to be replaced.

What We Completed
- Completed AC tune-ups on both systems.
- Replaced the outdoor fan motor.
- Replaced the contactor.
- Checked the system after the repairs.
The Result
Both systems were tuned up, and the outdoor unit has a new fan motor and contactor. Learn more about our AC maintenance.
What Homeowners Can Learn From This Job
- Tune-ups find more than dirt. Worn parts often show up during routine checks.
- The outdoor fan matters. Without it, the system cannot get rid of heat.
- A maintenance plan keeps you ahead. Regular visits catch problems before a breakdown.
