The job at a glance
- Town: Hackett, AR
- Service: AC tune-up
- Technicians: Logan and Alejandro
What we found
This home has two air conditioning systems, and both were due for their seasonal tune-up. Logan and Alejandro went through each system on its own.
On one of the outdoor units, grass clippings and debris had built up on the coil. That coil is where the system releases the heat it pulls from the house, so anything stuck to it makes the system work harder.
What we did
- Completed a seasonal tune-up on both systems
- Checked each system’s refrigerant (the fluid that carries heat out of your home), electrical connections, coils and airflow
- Took the top off the outdoor unit to reach the inside of the coil
- Cleaned the grass and debris off the coil

The result
Both systems got their tune-up, and the dirty coil got cleaned on the same trip. No repairs were part of this job. Clearing debris on a scheduled visit helps keep a tune-up from turning into a repair call.
