The drain line that carries water away from the indoor unit was clogged. The compressor capacitor, the part that gives the compressor (the heart of the outdoor unit) its starting kick, needed replacing. The return air box (the box where air from your rooms flows back into the system) also needed repair. A clogged drain can back water up around the indoor unit or shut the system off.

- Repaired the return air box, lining it with foil faced insulation board and sealing the seams
