What we found
There was no cool air coming into the house. The outdoor unit was humming, but the fan on top was not spinning. A hum with no fan movement often points to the capacitor, the part that gives the motors in the outdoor unit their starting kick.
Alejandro and Johan checked the system and replaced the capacitor. They also found that both coils needed a deep cleaning: the indoor coil that cools the air, and the outdoor coil that releases heat outside. Dirty coils make a system run hotter and longer, which puts extra strain on parts like capacitors and motors.

- Tracked down the no cooling problem and replaced the capacitor
- Took the outdoor unit apart to deep clean the outdoor coil
- Deep cleaned the indoor coil and gave it an antimicrobial treatment, which helps keep mold and bacteria from growing on it
